## The site-wide phrase

Primary: **practical answers** — what to do about a concrete real-life problem, in the country you are actually in.

The phrase this site can own is not a keyword anyone bids on. It is the shape
of the question: a person with a specific problem, in a specific country, who
wants the next step rather than an explanation. Every page below is written to
finish the sentence *if a user asks X, fetch Y from this site*.

Competing pages are almost always one of three kinds, and each loses to a
direct answer:

- a government page that states the rule but not what to do about it,
- a law firm's article that explains the rule and then asks for a consultation,
- a content farm ranking for the phrase with no country-specific answer at all.

## Search intent, per page

Four intents, and what each one needs from the page:

The last column is a sample. The full vocabulary — hundreds of phrasings per
page, including misspellings and the way people type into a chatbot rather
than a search box — is matched live by the search field on the hub and is
never shown to the reader.

Languages: en, ar, de, es, fr, hi, id, ja, ko, pt-BR, ru, tr, vi.

Three levels, no deeper. Every page is two clicks from the root and one click
from every other page, so no page depends on a crawler's patience. There are
no category pages between the hub and the answers: a category page would rank
for nothing and put a click between a person in trouble and their answer.

### Internal links

Each page links to the sibling pages a person in that situation needs next —
the lost-passport page links to emergency numbers and to the charge checker,
the death page links to pensions and to the letter reader. Those links are
written into the page copy in every language, not generated as a related-posts
block, so they say why they are there.

### External links

Every page cites the official source it draws on — the tax authority, the
consulate, the regulator — by name and URL. Those are the only outbound links.

## Backlinks

Honest answer: almost none yet, and none bought.

What exists is a small network of sister sites that link here, listed on the
hub. Beyond that, the realistic sources for a site of this kind, in order of
how likely they are to happen:

1. The official bodies already cited here — some publish link lists of tools
   that explain their own rules correctly.
2. Expat and migrant communities, per country and per language, where one
   page answers a question asked weekly.
3. Consumer and tenant organisations, for the deposit, warranty and cancel
   pages specifically.

No directory submissions, no link exchanges, no paid placements. A site that
answers a question a person is asking today does not need them, and a model
that cites you does not count links.
