### United Kingdom passports

Nộp trực tuyến qua dịch vụ hộ chiếu nước ngoài trên GOV.UK, gửi hộ chiếu cũ về HM Passport Office ở Anh và nhận hộ chiếu mới qua chuyển phát. Không có dịch vụ nhanh từ nước ngoài.

### United States passports

Gia hạn qua đại sứ quán hay lãnh sự quán Mỹ tại your country of residence bằng mẫu DS-82 — qua bưu điện, chuyển phát hay tới tận nơi, tuỳ cơ quan đó quy định. Người sống ở nước ngoài không dùng được gia hạn trực tuyến. Mẫu DS-82 dùng được nếu hộ chiếu gần nhất cấp cho bạn từ 16 tuổi trở lên, trong vòng 15 năm, và bạn còn giữ nó.
- Adult fee abroad: 130 USD
- Child fee abroad: 135 USD
- Processing: about 4–6 weeks
- Bạn phải nộp hoặc gửi hộ chiếu hiện tại — đừng lên kế hoạch đi đâu cho tới khi có hộ chiếu mới.
- Trẻ dưới 16 tuổi: mẫu DS-11, tới tận nơi ở đại sứ quán hay lãnh sự quán, với cả hai bố mẹ (hoặc một người kèm văn bản đồng ý của người kia).

### France passports

Bắt đầu hồ sơ trực tuyến (ANTS), rồi đặt lịch lấy vân tay ở lãnh sự quán Pháp — hộ chiếu nhận tại đó. Lệ phí nộp tại lãnh sự quán bằng tiền địa phương.

### Philippines passports

### Australia passports

## When to start

Tính ngược từ ngày hết hạn: 6 tháng (nhiều nước từ chối nhập cảnh nếu ít hơn), thời gian xử lý tối đa, và hai tuần dự phòng.

## Mang theo những gì

- Hộ chiếu hiện tại của bạn.
- Ảnh hộ chiếu đúng quy cách của nước bạn (một số đại sứ quán chụp tại chỗ).
- Tờ khai đã điền.
- Giấy tờ chứng minh địa chỉ hay tình trạng cư trú (thẻ cư trú, thị thực), nếu họ hỏi.
- Lệ phí ở dạng họ nhận — nhiều đại sứ quán chỉ nhận tiền mặt hay thẻ bằng tiền địa phương.
- Đã đổi tên? Mang bản gốc giấy đăng ký kết hôn, bản án ly hôn hay quyết định của toà (kèm bản dịch công chứng nếu bằng tiếng khác).

## Coi chừng

- Những trang thu tiền để «đẩy nhanh» hay «kiểm tra trước» hồ sơ hộ chiếu — chỉ cơ quan chính thức mới làm nhanh được, và từ nước ngoài thì thường cũng không.
- Buồng chụp ảnh và ứng dụng không theo quy cách ảnh của nước bạn — ảnh bị từ chối là nguyên nhân chậm trễ phổ biến nhất.
- «Cò» ngoài đại sứ quán thu tiền để đặt lịch hẹn cho bạn.
